A 2D puzzle-platformer set is a world of fantasy, torn between seasons. Leitmotifs and musical themes were adapted to reflect different seasons within the game, making for interactive / adaptive music and keeping the music cohesive throughout the game. The game was story-driven with narrative segments between levels, which were enriched with cinematic adaptations of the themes. Sound design elements were adapted to fit different seasons.

Catacombs of Despair is a horror-maze game, where the player has to solve the maze before time runs out. The music adapted to how much time the player had left (intensifying as time ran out) and clues found during gameplay. View Example 2 here to see how music adapted to clues found. Mesophyll is a self-released instrumental concept album. It is a 15-minute story driven suite, consisting of three phases. It presents a fusion of hybrid orchestral scoring, electric/acoustic guitar, atmospheric elements and electronic touches. You will hear samples recorded by myself throughout my travels, manipulated and weaved into the suite. The album was composed, produced, mixed and mastered by myself.


Making the album is a rewarding exercise in narrowing a concept down to musical themes, and executing. Moreover, making it was valuable in practicing mixing as an art form, to tailor to the project concept and deliver the intended message.
